About our service

We are a family owned business and family friendly service. All ages and levels of experience are welcome!

If catching trout with downriggers and trolling tactics in the lake from the comfort of a boat and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery is your thing, then this trip is for you. Aboard a spacious 22’ Bennington pontoon boat, you will begin the day with a scenic ride to the fishing location. Once there, your guide will set up downriggers and you will begin trolling for the large brown, rainbow and lake trout who inhabit these waters. This trip is for all ages and levels of experience. If you are looking to catch a few fish for a trout dinner, this trip will allow you the opportunity to catch some fish and take them home for a fresh-caught meal.

Your day will begin with a short scenic boat ride (typically about 30 minutes) as we depart from the boat launch at Sportsman's Marina on South Holston Lake and cruise towards the fishing location. Once we arrive at the fishing destination, your guides will get you rigged up and start fishing. Around mid-day you will be served lunches made fresh by the Crossroads Deli, then continue to fish. Each client is welcome to keep a few fish, should they choose, and we will process them when we return to the marina, and dispose of the remains (if you plan to keep fish, it's best to bring your own cooler). Expect the trip to last approximately 8 hours (contact us for shorter or longer trips). We will return to the boat landing at Sportsman's Marina where many of our clients choose to stay for dinner on their outdoor floating patio.
